In an effort to build audience for new authors, one Argentinian bookstore and publisher has implemented a novel approach. Buy a book from a new author and once you open it, you have 60 days to read it before the text disappears. It’s an interesting use of disappearing ink, but will it catch on? So far, the results are positive for the first in the series, “El Libro que No Puede Esperar” (The Book That Can’t Wait). Initial success may be driven by those interested in the novel approach to selling novels. Analysts are skeptical. What do you think? Watch the video and share your comments with the community.
