The OASIS DITA Technical Committee have released a “work in progress” draft of the DITA Architecture Specification version 1.1. DITA is specification that defines both a set of document types for authoring and organizing topic-oriented information; and a set of mechanisms for combining and extending document types using a process called specialization.
